Born in 1977 in the North of England Luke is an award-winning British photographer specializing in Asia. From his base in Bangkok, Thailand, where he has been for over 6 years, he is continuously shooting travel, editorial and corporate style assignments for some of the most globally respected publications and NGO's all over the Asian continent.

He began his career with a photo-story published in The Sunday Times Magazine (UK) and has since been assigned by and published in a host of publications such as The Independent on Sunday Review, Stern, Monocle Magazine, TIME, GEO, ESPN the Magazine, Forbes, Volvo's LIV Magazine, The New York Times and The Asian Wall Street Journal.

In 2006 he won the Environment category in the prestigious Banff Mountain Photography Competition in Canada and the same year also came 3rd in Travel Photographer of the Year in the UK. He repeated his success in that competition in 2007 when he was placed 4th.

Luke first photographed the CNVLD on a ten day assignment for ESPN the Magazine (fighting with dengue fever at the same time) and has since returned each year to photograph more aspects of the domestic league and World Cups.

He has been the official photographer to the CNVLD since 2007.
